El curso se acompañará de una cirugía en directo y, clases teóricas y prácticas. Será impartido completamente en inglés aunque ayudaremos en la traducción en caso de duda.

PROGRAMA:
2-12-21/DAY 1: Lecture and Hands-on
- 9.00 – 9.30: Welcome and registration
- 9.30 – 11.00: Biological principles and understanding of guided bone regeneration. Question of sockets: Do we need to preserve?
- 11.00 -11.30: Coffee Break
- 11.30 – 13.00: Diagnosis and selection of patients for horizontal ridge augmentation. Treatment planning. Treatment of alveolar defects with GBR using Regedent collagen membranes embedded in borderline defects together with implants. Diagnosis and selection of patients for vertical ridge augmentation. Treatment planning. Presentation of cases.
- 13.00-14.00: Lunch break
- 14.00 – 17.30: Practical exercise on pig jaws. Placement of an implant with horizontal defect treated with GBR and nailed collagen membrane.
3-12-21/DAY 2: Lecture and Hands-on
- 9.00 – 9.30 Welcome
- 9.30 – 11.00: Live surgery Dra. Rocchietta of anterior maxillary vertical GBR.
- 11.00 – 11.30: Coffee break
- 11.30 – 13.00 : Live surgery discussion. Questions and answers. Surgical preparation and surgical steps of vertical ridge augmentation. Graft selection. Autogenous vs. Grafts. Barrier selection and fixing devices. Post-operative protocol. Discussion of clinical cases.
- 13.00 – 14.00: Lunch
- 14.00-17.00: Practical exercise on pig jaws. Vertical augmentation of the ridge in the mandible of the pig with a PTFE membrane, management of passive mucogingival flaps without tension.
4-12-21/DAY 3: Lecture and live surgery
- 9.00 – 9.30 Welcome
- 9.30 – 11.30: Soft tissue management in GBR.
- 11.30 – 12.00: Coffee break
- 12.00 – 14.00: Tips and tricks to avoid pitfalls in regenerative surgery. Complications and how to manage them. Case discussions of participants
- 14.00: End of the course and delivery of diplomas.
INFORMACIÓN PRÁCTICA:
El curso se celebrará íntegramente en Clínica Dental Esteve.
La inscripción incluye la asistencia a todo el curso, las comidas a mediodía, las pausas para el café y un diploma de asistencia.
